Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the sp00ky website, documentation, and any managed cloud services offered under the sp00ky name (the "Service"). The sp00ky open-source library runs on your infrastructure and does not, by itself, send any data to us.

1. Information We Collect

We collect a minimal amount of information, in two categories:

  • You give us: account information (such as email address) when you sign up for managed services, and any content you choose to submit (for example, support messages or feedback).
  • Collected automatically: basic request logs (IP address, user agent, referrer, timestamp) and aggregate analytics to measure usage and reliability.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Respond to support requests and communicate important updates.
  • Detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, or security issues.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Service (such as hosting and analytics providers), under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection agreements, or when required by law.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep the Service working, remember preferences, and understand aggregate usage. You can control cookies in your browser settings.

5. Data Retention

We keep information only as long as necessary to provide the Service and meet our legal obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

6. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you to use strong credentials and keep your account safe.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Contact us using the details below to exercise these rights.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

9. International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than the one you live in. When we transfer data internationally, we apply appropriate safeguards.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate.
